Done early without a plan, prestige feels like deleting your army. Done on purpose, it is how veterans separate from lobbies that only buy the next generic soldier.

What prestige gives you

Prestige progression unlocks exclusive units you cannot treat as ordinary shop filler. Those exclusives are catalogued on Prestige Units and should influence your entire mid-game spend. If you do not care about any exclusive yet, keep farming flags and hill control instead of resetting for the sake of a button.

Prestige is not the same as a promo code. Codes can help prestige—pres1234 is listed for +2 Prestige + Flaming Arms when active—but codes expire. Build a repeatable income engine so you are not dependent on holiday strings. Always cross-check the Codes Hub before you assume a prestige code still works. Community-reported codes like freeprestige may fail; test them, do not plan around them.

How to get Prestige in Build a Medieval Army

Preconditions before you prestige

Run this checklist:

1. You understand the core loop from How to Play: recruit, steal flags, return for cash, defend, hold hill.

• Hilltop flag: +20% income while held.
• Premium: +10% cash.
• Economy gamepasses: Double Income (and related XP passes) can compress grinds—weigh them on the Gamepasses Tier List.
• Code cash: big2xmascash, casher72, startcash55, maze74, and similar entries when active.

Hill control is the skill-based multiplier. A player who ignores the hill but buys Double Income still leaves free value on the map. Combine both when you can.

Phase B — Contest multipliers. Spend lives on hill takes and clean returns. Track how often you hold the +20% bonus for full minutes, not seconds.

Phase C — Choose the exclusive. Open Prestige Units and Troop Tier List. Pick a target that matches offense, defense, or hybrid play.

Phase D — Soften the reset. Bank knowledge: know your redeem path, group Praetorian claim, and first purchases after prestige. If you own helpful gamepasses (Heavy Soldier, Assassin Soldier, Heal Spell, Cloned Troops, Roman Legion, and others), remember what they change post-reset.

Phase E — Prestige and rebuild. Reset, reclaim codes if new ones appeared, rebuild recruit lines fast, and resecure defense before you ego-rush the strongest enemy base.

Mistakes that waste a prestige

• Prestiging because a friend did, without an exclusive goal.
• Ignoring defense so post-prestige raids delete your restart cash.
• Spending Robux on cosmetic flex instead of income or key soldiers listed in the gamepass guide.
• Trusting expired prestige codes or unverified freeprestige claims.

How prestige ties to army quality
